Space tourism startup Space Perspective has raised a new $7 million in seed funding from investors including Prime Movers Lab and Base Ventures . The company, founded by Jane Poynter and Taber MacCallum, who previously founded stratospheric balloon company World View, is focused on developing Spaceship Neptune, a pressurized passenger capsule
Slingshot Aerospace Garners $8 Million In Series A Funding
Slingshot Aerospace, Inc. has raised $8 million in Series A funds for a total raised of $17.1 million to date — the round is led by ATX Venture Partners, and includes additional investments from Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Techstars Ventures and Okapi Venture Capital.
European Investment Bank announces first direct financing for European “New Space” sector with €20M venture loan
The financing supports Spire Global’s nanosatellite development and launches, space infrastructure, data analytics, and high-skilled job creation in Luxembourg and the EU.
This represents the First-ever direct EIB financing for the emerging European “New Space” industry
